What an amazing show team Tom whitaker equestrian had at the lovely show Chard equestrian this weekend. 

Buvento, our 7 year old mare by Argento, was in flying form winning her class Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  Prins van’t geberte jumped two very good rounds to finish 3rd both in Saturday’s and Sunday’s 1.30m classes. We were delighted with Godiva Quality stepping up to 1.40m level for the first time this weekend, finishing her show on Sunday jumping a very impressive double clear in a fast 1.40m class to finish in 2nd place. Sunniva and her two horses Al Capone and Hollywood were also both in great form jumping clears everyday and ready to step up. 

Our pupils Luca Cullum and Paris Walker-Smith also performed brilliantly with their two horses. Luca finished the show with a lovely clear round in the 85cm class on his horse Truly Don, looking ready to step up to bigger classes. Paris jumped two great clear rounds in the 1.10m classes on both Saturday and Sunday, finishing 3rd on the Saturday with a very unlucky fence in a strong 1.20m class on the last day. 

Overall we have enjoyed our time at Chard equestrian centre with lovely facilities and very nice people, we look forward to competing there again soon.

What a brilliant show at bolseworth and great education for our exciting 6 year olds. All horses jumped brilliant in a very challenging 6 year old Grand Prix. Buvento jumped a lovely clear finishing her show with out touching a pole. Next show for us hickstead royal international with prins, Buvento, al Capone and some exciting new horses in our stable

All horses jumped brilliant first day at bolseworth international, Buvento jumped out of her skin to finish 2nd with Tom and sunniva and al capone du tertre z jumped a very stylish foot perfect double clear. Couldn’t be happier with all the horses and looking forward to the rest of the week at this lovely show.

Great start to Bolseworth international 

A very cold but very successful day at wellington. We took our two new 7 year olds colliers Carlotta who jumped a super double clear and lagodinus pp who won the 120.  8 year old Prins van’t gebergt started his year in flying form jumping an amazing double clear around the 130 finishing 7th. Godiva Quality kept our winning streak going with a super win in the 130 looking in great form.  Our exciting new 10 year old mare did not disappoint in the 140 jumping a super double clear and finishing 2nd.

All horses jumping fantastic at wellington 

Colliers Carlotta is a striking 16.3 7 year old mare by codex one x cornet obolensky. Carlotta is owned by crimbourne stud and has already had a great year last year winning multiple classes including the 6 year old final in the main ring at hickstead. We are excited to welcome this talented mare and looking forward to working with Anthony and Leigh of crimbourne stud making our team that bit stronger going into 2023.

Lagodinus is a 7 year old stallion with a very exciting future. Dino stands around 17.0 a huge striking stallion full of power we believe he will make a top Grand Prix horse, and showing today how athletic and quality he is jumping a fantastic double clear around the 120 making it look effortless. We are excited to see what the future holds for Dino. Take a look at the video below to see him competing at hascombe. 

Welcome to the stable lagodinus 

Our very reliable Argento 7 year old mare continued her great run of form after picking up top placing all year round. Buvento was put to the test at arena uk and jumped her first 140/145 class and she did our team proud jumping a super clear and finished in 7th place. After a well deserved day off buvento then went on to finish 3rd in the royal international qualifier. Looking forward to seeing this mare in the bigger classes going into next year.

Buvento steps up in style 

Exciting news for the team as we welcome Ameretto daisy a very talented 9 year old mare with an exciting future ahead. Daisy already really impressing with some great rounds at her first show at arena uk with a great result in the 135 royal international qualifier finishing 4th. We also welcome new owners to our team abi and tom cullum who are part owners of daisy with Tom whitaker equestrian.

We welcome a new star ⭐️ 

9 year old mare actograna was in amazing form at arena uk jumping double clear all three days winning on Thursday, 2nd on Friday and then 4th in a very fast jump off class on the Saturday. What a great mare she’s turning out to be, looking forward to seeing her progress further.

Buvento continues her amazing form at aintree not touching a fence the whole show and winning the grade c qualifier with a super quick round in the jump off, excited to see this mare step up to the bigger classes in the next few months. Partner in crime Prins van’t geberte also jumped fantastic jumping a very stylish double clear to finish 4th

What a great show we had at arena uk with every horse jumping fantastic. Buvento was in flying form winning the 7 year old qualifier and then going on to finish 2nd in the Grand Prix Prins at his first show back jumped some brilliant rounds and finished 5th in the 7 year old Grand Prix. Arena uk round up

What a great night it was at arena uk,  9 year old HHS Inishmore jumped his very first puissance along with Tom in front of the backed Saturday night crowd, to jump all 5 rounds and taking the out right win jumping 2.11m great result for owner John walker smith and the whole team.
